When you need a quiet respite from a busy world, think of The Oaks Victorian Inn where you’ll find the friendliness and security of a small lodging property with the amenities of a 5-star hotel and historical charm of the late 19th century.
A classic example of a Queen Anne residence, The Oaks Victorian Inn was originally the home of William H. Pierce, a local insurance executive and landowner. Pierce had the house built in 1893 and there he and his wife raised seven children. He died in 1949 and his widow continued to live there until her death in 1968. This seventy-five-year occupancy by the original owners accounts for the remarkably unaltered state of the house. Undergoing two major renovations in the later 80’s and 90’s – carefully preserved many of the beautiful features adding luxury of modern. Every bedroom has a private bath.
Recent 2021 upgrades include, modernizing bathrooms, new Sterns and Foster luxury plush mattresses, high speed wifi, sundeck, upscale linens and electronics. Tastefully added time period antiques and fine furnishings throughout the entire home.
We are a PET FREE and SMOKE/VAPE FREE property.
